it isn't just newgrounds, for a couple of months agora road has been getting flooded with clanker(bot) users in the bolc of 20K to 30K. doomworld has been getting DDOSed for months

what is going on around here? the ones flooding agora were scraper bots(just sitting there not posting nor spamming), were the ones flooding NG and doomworld the same?

if yes, is it just trolls using scraper bots for maiham (i would also note, i went looking for public calls to ddos these sites on some troll forums and imageboards and found nothing. i know it doesn't take that many people to perform a DDOS but felt i should still note that.) or some company being hyper aggressive about data collection?
